We can have carbs. They just have to be complex carbs. Stay away from simple carbs. Complex carbs give you energy and make you feel full longer. They take longer for your body to digest. Simple carbs leave you feeling hungry, so you'll want eat again way sooner. Complex carbs are vegetables, 100% Whole Wheat Breads, 100% whole wheat pastas, 100% whole wheat crackers, & 100% whole wheat oats. Keep in mind it has to be 100% whole wheat or 100% whole grain. It can't say "made with whole wheat" or "made with whole grain". Check the nutritional facts on the side of the box or the back of the box for sugar. It needs to have the no sugar or lowest amount of sugar available. Remember complex carbs is the smart way to eat. Simple carbohydrates is bad eating and leads to weight gain.
When comes time to put food in your body... You have to have a strong mindset that you will be disciplined, and you will only eat foods that give you body nutrition. Other foods harm your body and your mind. Would you rather have your friend lie to you or tell you like it is?
Burgers, Fries, Pizza, simple sandwiches on White Bread, & white pasta. I put this list together to clarify the foods that you don't need to eat I know when you get hungry these are the easiest foods to go to or you think you're eating healthy but it's really not these foods are foods that your body your doesn't have time to process it so it immediately stores it to fat.
One thing I love to keep in stock in my pantry is... Definitely my number one fave. Make sure it's unsalted. The sodium/salt will make you bloated. I love when they have mixed nuts during Autumn. Nuts and seeds are a quick and healthy snack. Nuts are a good fat.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream...Not really though it's just a silly sayin' we were taught as kids. Ice cream is filled with excessive amounts of sugar. I once heard a comedian tell this "joke" The reason kids are screaming about ice cream is because they are dying from it. Sadly childhood diabetes has sky rocketed. This milkshake literally taste just like good old fashion ice cream, without all the sugar and ingredients you can't pronounce.
This tasty recipe is healthy and guilt free. 1-2 Sliced frozen bananas 1 Tablespoon Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder 4 Frozen Strawberries 1 Teaspoon Chia Seeds Unsweetened Coconut Milk Frozen grapes are a quick go to healthy snack when you're feeling snacky. You can purchase 4 pounds of grapes at Costco for $10. Wash them and stick the entire basket of grapes in the freezer, when you are ready to snack grab a bowl full and enjoy. Sweet Treat - Add a little protein and some grapes, and it is a perfect neal for after a workout. Since grapes helps with muscle repair. Or this can feed your sweet cravings. This sweet littke treat can be a rewarding little dessert after dinner.
